Getting to the Coral Eclipse Stakes

By Car

To get to the 2008 Coral Eclipse Stakes from London, take the A3 and follow the brown venue signs to Sandown Park. Alternatively, take the M25 exit at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London. Then exit onto the A307 and follow the brown venue signs.

Parking for the Coral Eclipse Stakes

The Portsmouth Road car park is off the A307 Esher High Street, directly in front of the main entrance. You can book a place in this car park for £5. Disabled parking is available for free, and the car park is close to the main entrance and grandstand.

Parking is free in the centre of the course, which you can reach from the More Lane entrance.

By Rail

By train from London Waterloo, the trip to Sandown Park takes about 25 minutes.

Esher Railway Station is about a 10-minute walk from the Sandown Park main entrance. Turn left out of the station onto Station Road and then turn right at the T junction to join the A307 Portsmouth Road. The entrance to Sandown Park is on the right-hand side. Alternatively, there is a taxi rank at the station.

By Air

London Heathrow is about 12 miles from Sandown Park, and Gatwick is 25 miles by road. Sandown Park also has a helipad.
